Home2 Suites by Hilton Savannah Airport

This was honestly the worst experience I’ve had at a Hilton property. During breakfast, my daughter drank milk that was clearly spoiled and immediately had to run to the restroom to vomit. A staff member saw the situation and removed about 15 cartons of milk from the refrigerator, which strongly suggests the milk had gone bad. When I calmly mentioned that the milk was spoiled, the staff member responded defensively, saying it “had not been out that long.” What shocked me the most was the complete lack of concern. Not once did she ask if my daughter was okay. A simple apology and concern would have been the minimum level of customer care. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue during our stay. We booked this hotel on a road trip to Florida. We planned on staying in Savannah, but ended up being a day early. We love Home2 Suites and the room they give our family.||Booking and checking in was simple as could be. Hotel is clean and tidy. Rooms were the same.||The only issue we had, was the curtain divider ended up falling out of the ceiling and landed on our son’s arm. He is fine, no big deal. My husband said that the screws were stripped and that’s why it fell out of the ceiling.||Breakfast was good. Ran a shorter duration from 7-9, but when we left around 9:30 and the breakfast area was still open and accessible. The only thing we noticed was missing was apple juice and whole milk option.||Check out was easy, front desk was friendly. I’d recommend staying here.||Plenty of food opt

Great location. Clean, staff were accommodating and friendly. Shower pressure was nice. Only issue was that continental breakfast was not what we have had at cheaper hotels. If you’re picking this hotel for free breakfast , do not.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel for our trip to Savannah. We booked this hotel as on their website it stated that they had an airport shuttle. To our surprise on arrival they stated that the shuttle ended at 7 PM and to take an uber at our arrival at 11. At an airport like SAV the majority of flights arrive close to midnight and depart early in the morning which should be the main shuttle times. Upon arrival, the employee at the front desk did not seem any bit interested in greeting us or asking if we needed anything. Thankfully I had the digital key and could go straight to the room. Headed into our last night I went to request the shuttle to the airport in the morning because there should be no way that the shuttle doesn’t run for morning flights, right? Positive: Room was huge & pretty awesome. We were able to take a bath and the bed was very comfy. Kitchen fridge was roomy and all around the space rocked. Location was really good too w/tons of restaurants including ones w/vegan options (gotta try Tacos & Tequila) Negative: ""
