TownePlace Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/East Ridge

I had an outstanding stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South East Ridge. From the very beginning, the service was top tier. Archie assisted me with my reservation the night before my arrival, and he was incredibly helpful and professional over the phone. Everything was smooth and ready when I arrived. The very kind woman who greeted me at check in set the tone immediately. She was warm, welcoming, and professional. I truly wish I remembered her name because she deserves recognition. Roscoe was also phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The entire team made me feel valued. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I will absolutely stay here again when I am in the area. Five stars.

This hotel is a gem! The setting up above the road is nice and quiet. It does abut apartments, but they were so quiet I wondered if anyone lived there. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Steve (I think), is the most present, friendly, and amiable manager I have encountered. The room and the lobby were spotless and fresh. Breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. The only negative is the thin walls and floors. It was very quiet when it was quiet. But when a school group arrived as well as a family above us with two young children, it was super disturbing. The location is convenient to the interstate, but the surrounding area has little to offer in the way of appealing dining options. Even so, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Back again this January and again same as last year we enjoyed our stay. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Enjoyed the outdoor sitting area that also has a fire table (used fir table last year didn’t need it this year)|Well done maintaining very good standards for guests.

Positive: I appreciated the kitchenette option. Very helpful for travelers thinking of daytrips/excursions. Negative: The location was out of the way. Breakfast was average and the hotel's pet friendliness conflicted with its overall cleanliness.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was super clean! The kitchenette was so well equipped. Comfortable bed and fantastic pillows. The staff was so pleasant. Extra kudos to the wonderful lady that puts out the breakfast (don’t remember her name, unfortunately.) Honestly, it was worth twice what we paid for it (hope Marriott doesn’t read this). You won’t be disappointed. (March 2, 2026)
