Baymont by Wyndham East Ridge / Chattanooga

This was a great place to book last minute for a weekend getaway. We weren’t going to spend too much time in our room but overall I was very pleased given the 2 star rating. Well worth every penny. They were very accommodating, no odd smells, complimentary breakfast with a decent spread. However be prepared to pay a high temporary deposit ($150) and relatively thin walls. In despite of that, location was very convenient to everything, tucked away from the Main road, small but well equipped gym, spacious room with a nice size refrigerator and microwave, updated appliances ( shower and flat scree) , beds and pillows were standard but very comfortable. Don’t hesitate just book it.

My stay was terrific! The room was spacious and very clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the staff were lovely. ||I was a little nervous seeing the hallway and rooms, as it could use a paint job (but that is nitpicking!), and I was a little nervous looking at the door of rooms, but it was just a "me" thing. My stay exceeded my expectations and I would stay again.

Positive: The 2nd room was much better. Shower was great. The breakfast was very good. The bed was ok. Negative: The first room 164 had an oder of cat urine. It was clean, shower was big and good for handicapped individual. The urine smell was strong enough that I requested they move us to another room and they did.

We arrived late into the night to welcome greetings by name. Then checked in, given helpful info like breakfast and shown the room location so fast I was able to lay my head down for sleep within 5 minutes. Very pleased with the arrangement.

Hotel and room was dirty and rundown. The elevator has a horrible smell and is on the verge of breaking. The pictures online are old because the front desk and snack area are unkempt. The floors are dirty everywhere, sheets have stains and our pull out couch was so dirty they gave us the option of getting the sheets changed or switching rooms. Lotion in the bathroom was previously used and left on the sink for us to use. Apples at breakfast were squishy and sticky. Not a place for a family to stay.
