Topaz Motel Flagler Beach

Was down here for bike week, need a room for 1 night .... the positives... this room was half the cost of anywhere within 150 + miles ... its right on the ocean...it was clean ....beds were ok 👍....there is a restaurant on sight that looked pretty busy so food must be good ....has an outdoor pool ...plenty of parking.... no some things you need to know .... its a motel.... its pretty old ... ..its out dated to say the least .... the rooms are spacious but its still a motel ... the walk in to.get into our rooms on the south side of the building like rooms 100s had 0 lighting and it was very dark .... the office to.check in wld remind you of a scary movie but they were friendly.... so if your looking for a room.to rest for the night at the least amount of $ .... this is your place

Positive: "" Negative: There were a lot of problems with the room air conditioner, barely worked. Literally the bathroom door was in shreds. Multiple holes in the walls some is big as a silver dollar electrical junction boxes literally hanging out of the wall. Flood damage

We went as a family and had friends join. It’s clean enough. Pool was open. I wish the beach access was directly across the street, it’s hard walking down the road with the construction going on. We enjoyed hanging out on the benches outside of our door, seems like everyone did too. I will be bringing a blanket next time.

Comfortable and quiet. Slightly run down in some places but I've seen worse. Beautiful view of the ocean right across the street. Advertised laundry facility on the website but there wasn't one available. It looked more like a storage room. There was a laundry mat right down the street tho. Great food nearby. Ate at The Cajun Beach a lot while here. All in all its a damn nice spot to come relax and enjoy the ocean breeze, some walks on the beach and a pool if you're scared of that big beautiful ocean

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was in terrible condition: a dirty bathroom, stained and worn furniture, broken curtains, no blankets or comforter (in late December), and a heater that did not work—only cold air came out. It was freezing all night. I booked this hotel on Booking.com, where it is listed as a 2.5-star property. That rating is completely misleading. When I entered the room, I was shocked by how poorly maintained it was. I had dinner at a nearby restaurant on New Year’s Eve and, after a few drinks, decided not to drive and booked this hotel just for the night. Because it was close to the New Year’s countdown and I didn’t want to risk driving, I stayed instead of leaving, but it was an extremely uncomfortable experience. I paid $120 for one night, which
