The Winchester Lodge

Winchester Lodge is a delightful spot for those seeking a peaceful getaway. Nestled just off the main street yet conveniently within walking distance to local attractions, it provides the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. The two-story room we stayed in for our anniversary was particularly quaint, featuring a view of the pool and large walk-in shower with soft fluffy towels. The amenities included a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee machine, which made it a comfortable stay. Breakfast was complimentary, simple overnight oats, fresh strawberries, waffles, orange juice, and just brewed hot coffee available—all enjoyed by the poolside. We highly recommended Winchester Lodge for its charm and convenience getaway in Fredericksburg. And would definitely stay here again!

Everything about the stay was fabulous from our arrival to check out! Highlights included the large jacuzzi in the room and the breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at The Winchester Lodge so much! The property couldn't be more convenient for visiting the Museum of the Pacific. We loved the somewhat rustic yet modernized rooms, especially the huge shower. The breakfast served to our room each day was a fantastic touch. And the in-rooom gas fireplace was great. We were even able to store our bicycles on the private patio in our upstairs suite (Suite 8). We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Fredericksburg.

We had a great stay in Unit 1. The breakfast basket every morning was delightful, as was the outdoor fireplace. Our unit was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely setting, steps from shops and restaurants. Bathroom was upstairs with the bedroom (no big deal) but a sink in the downstairs coffee bar would have been nice. Other units have different layouts, so you could choose one with a single level. Pool looked great. Feels like a country resort in the middle of town!

Great location one block off Main Street, everything is walking distance. We had a couple of questions prior to our arrival and the lady we spoke to was great and was able to reassure us of our concerns. Our suite (15) was quaint and beautiful, perfect for a couples getaway! We enjoyed the jacuzzi (heads up to those with mobility issues, there is a very big step to get in and out). The breakfast delivery in the morning is a nice touch. Beautiful outdoor area with a fireplace and nice seating.
