The Whitby Hotel

Loved our stay at The Whitby. We came to New York City to see the sites for Christmas, and this could not have been a better location. We were warmly greeted, our room was immaculate and so beautifully decorated as is the rest of the hotel. A quiet location is also very important to us, and we slept without any problems. We had a quick walk up to Fifth and Sixth Avenue. It was very convenient, close to shopping, restaurants, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. This is a great choice and the staff is very accommodating. They even found a room for us after our flight was cancelled and we had to stay an extra night. The only area we thought needed a little attention was the restaurant. Even with reservations, there was always a wait to be seated and a bit of confusion amongst the s

I went here for cocktails and a light dinner. Beautifully decorated, comfortable seating, attentive servers, good atmosphere and not too noisy for conversation. I had a Spicy Margarita with a guacamole and chips bar snack. For main I had the Ora King Salmon with sweet potato mash and curried chic peas. Would definitely recommend a visit.

My family and I stayed at the Whitby Hotel in NYC over Christmas. The hotel was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The food in the hotel was excellent as well. Great location close to Central Park, Broadway and many great sites.

First time staying at the Whitby and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Location is great, but so is the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well done. The restaurant was excellent, the fitness center is one of the nicer ones at a hotel, and everyone there was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was a great experience - we'll def be back!

The Whitby Hotel is absolutely stunning! I loved the colorful interiors, warm atmosphere, and amazing service. Every corner feels unique and artistic. The location is perfect — close to Central Park and great shopping. Breakfast and afternoon tea were a real treat. A truly memorable New York stay!
