The Westin San Francisco Airport

The airport shuttle was excellent and runs consistently every 15 minutes, which makes travel days very easy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the large TV was a nice touch. The gym was well equipped with everything in working order, and having a Starbucks downstairs is very convenient. However, my front desk interactions were disappointing. During multiple encounters, the service felt impersonal and not particularly welcoming. Staff seemed very focused on their screens, and it was often unclear who to approach for assistance. First impressions matter, and the overall arrival experience did not feel warm or attentive. While the room was clean, it feels dated and in need of a full renovation. I stayed here just for one night and I really liked this hotel. It is close to the SFO airport and they offer a free shuttle service that goes every 10min minutes. So there is no need to grab a cab to get to/from the airport from/to the hotel. In the hotel is a Starbucks coffee shop and a restaurant. For short trips with just 1-2 nights, this hotel is super convenient. The restaurant offers some nice dishes to a fair price (I had a salad which was really big, very tasty and around 24$). In the sane restaurant they offer two kind of breakfast, continental or a‘la carte. I had the continental breakfast which came with a good selection of food with different sorts of bagels, toast, eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurts, fruits and more. Stayed one night at this Bonvoy property as we had an early flight the next day. Perfect location with free airport shuttle. Onsite restaurant was amazing..they had a guest chef that night offering Singaporean cuisine (we were enroute to Singapore so this was a pleasant treat!). Starbucks in the lobby for your early morning fix. Located across the street from a waterfront walking path to stroll around and watch the planes land at SFO.

I am a business traveller and also gold member of Marriott group. So I requested for a late chk out at 2 pm the next day. However i have no idea what communication problems this trip westin front desk and the house keepers team. The whole morning i had been waking up by the house keeper with phone calls and knocking on the door. So that's not really up to a good standard of my recent travel experience.

I have stayed at this hotel regularly over the years, mostly during the JP Morgan Conference. It is a solid and reliable alternative to the very expensive hotels in downtown San Francisco. The proximity to the airport is a clear advantage. There is an airport shuttle running roughly every 15 minutes to the International Terminal, which is very convenient.
