Amazing stay at an amazing central hotel. Choosing a good hotel in the city can be overwhelming due to various factors. Let me tel you, this place checked off all the important boxes like location, cleanliness, service, hospitality, etc. From the first moment of entry Iryna & her team were so welcoming. She made us feel right at home. Her & her team took great care of us. The room was well kept & cozy overall. It has a mini fridge too. The property also includes some helpful amenities like: - cafe & bar (coffee is great) - fitness center - concierge services - vending machines for quick meds Also, Pei at the front desk was so sweet as to sing happy birthday to me on the spot! If I’m ever in town again, I’d LOVE to stay here again & highly recommend it!!!
We checked in yesterday, February 19th, at the The The Westin New York Grand Central Hotel, and even though we’re staying through Sunday, I was so impressed that I wanted to share a review already. We’re here celebrating my daughter’s birthday weekend, and the staff has already made the start of our trip truly amazing. I especially want to recognize Deidre at the front desk. She was wonderful so welcoming, kind, and very detailed when explaining everything the hotel offers. Her hospitality and warm smile made our check-in experience memorable. The hotel also surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake for my daughter, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant a lot to us. This hotel was fantastic. I have to say the staff made everything even better. Hector, the doorman Alan, the front desk manager and Lily and Irina the manager and at the front desk were so positive and fun and kind and really made me feel welcome||I know this sounds silly, but I kind of felt like I was leaving a new family I just me.||The hotel itself was terrific and a great location and we had a really nice size room, especially for New York||The food was fabulous, especially the French onion soup. ||I’ve been to New York many many times and this is now become my new favorite hotel||But again, it’s about the people that works there that made it even more special. They are fantastic!!
*⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ well deserved 5 stars* We had such a great stay at The Westin Grand Central! The rooms were very clean, and the staff was amazingggg from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with, from the team helping with luggage, to the front desk, the restaurant staff, and even luggage storage after checkout was so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. A special shoutout to Ericka at the front desk, she was absolutely amazing and helped us so much during our stay. Her kindness truly made a difference for our family. The breakfast was delicious! I did see some reviews mentioning long wait times, but that wasn’t our experience at all. If you go right before cutoff, there may be a line, but it moves quickly. Dear Trip TeamThis is the formal complain I have made also to the westinFollowing my recent stay at The Westin New York Grand Central, I wanted to share some detailed feedback as the experience fell well below the standards I would expect from a Westin property — and certainly not in line with the price paid.As you know, when I checked in there was already an issue: all of the bedding sheets were crinkled and creased, which is not what one expects from a hotel of this calibre.
