The Westin Cincinnati

What a fantastic stay at The Westin! My sisters and I were in town for a UofL ballgame and absolutely loved our experience from start to finish. Having the team staying at the hotel as well made it even more special for us as proud alumni. The hospitality was top-notch, with exceptional service across the board. A special shout-out to the front desk staff for being so welcoming and helpful, the breakfast staff in the restaurant for starting our mornings off right, and the Starbucks crew for keeping us energized and smiling. The rooms were spotless, the amenities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was warm, professional, and inviting. The Westin truly knows how to create an experience, not just a stay. Stayed four nights for work meetings held on-site. The hotel is full-service but dated. It’s conveniently located downtown, close to Starbucks, ATMs, restaurants, bars, and the Great American Ball Park. My room was spacious but poorly laid out, worn, and in need of renovation. The TV was small, and the bathroom’s shower/tub combo felt outdated.||Housekeeping was inconsistent, showing up only 75% of the time. The overnight front desk clerk appeared unprofessional, more focused on vaping than assisting guests.||Security was good, requiring room keycards for elevator access. Meeting spaces were adequate; AV had a few hiccups but was resolved quickly. Catering staff were excellent.||Event organizers mentioned they preferred the nearby Hyatt for its more modern feel, but it was fully booked. Af

Positive: The people at this hotel were absolutely amazing! I did not meet one person that was rude or unkind. I will stay at this hotel every time I'm in Cincinnati just because of the wonderful professional and kind staff. Negative: My husband and I had to go around the block and so did my brother and his wife when trying to find the hotel. It would be nice if the hotel had more signs around it stating that it was the Westin.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Got a complimentary upgrade to overlook Fountain Square. Elevators were secure - had to use your door card on the outside to even call the elevator. Instant hot water and shower heads seem updated. The whole hotel seems fairly updated. Checkin was smooth. Beds were comfortable - my wife wanted to take a pillow home. She even took it out of the case to see what brand it was, only to be disappointed it was proprietary lol. Would definitely recommend for a stay in downtown Cincinnati.

Hotel was a nice clean property. Also very secure where you have to use room key to get access to elevator! Rooms were very spacious. Didn’t have the best view but that was okay.
