Sonesta ES Suites Cincinnati - Blue Ash

We stayed in a suite for four people and were very disappointed with the level of comfort and service, especially given how expensive it was it was actually more expensive than the Sheraton, which made the experience even more frustrating. The biggest issue was the bedding. The “blanket” provided for two people was extremely thin, and the room was cold. It was impossible for two people to share it ; only one person could stay warm. When we contacted the front desk, we were told to walk three blocks to the front desk to pick up another blanket ourselves, which is completely unreasonable, especially at night and in cold weather. I had a reservation ending and a new one set to begin, secured with a credit card I made sure had plenty of room on it, for today. I can never get to sleep before 2 AM, so I called and had a very detailed conversation with the night clerk last night asking her to look at my ending and starting reservations and verify everything was there, would be clearly understood by all, and to hand write on the night audit to not have anyone knock on my door because I would be asleep until near standard checkout time to get a healthy amount of sleep, at which point I would come to the front to switch reservations and sign everything. Wonderful place! The rooms are amazing, they're better than most apartments and housed three people with plenty of room. Gave us a sense of familiar comfort and was really easy to relax in. Beds are very comfy, staff is really polite! Breakfast was great! It's in a quiet part of Cincinnati, so we all got some good, quality sleep. Arguably better than the sleep we get back home! Great place, especially when you're visiting Cincinnati.
