Salvatore’s Grand Hotel

The hotel has gone down hill. We have stayed at the hotel in the past and it has been great, now it is over priced for what you get. With our last stay in july There are many things that were bad. |1. the king bed was hos comfortable, felt like you were sleeping in a rut. felt every movement of my wife. |2. the couch was not comfortable at all either, when you sat in it you immediately sank in , no support.|3. Tv could not be turned so when you were sitting on the couch you were watching at an angle .|4. The light above the sink was bad, very hard to see myself when shaving.|5. AC machine was very loud, it was outdated|6. breakfast was not as good as in the past. potatoes were under cooked, glasses were dirty.|7. check in was slow, was told the system was very old|Very disappointed in the

The suite was spacious and comfortable. The living room area had a fire place. Kitchen had microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. China cups were provided. The bedroom area had a jacuzzi tub. The room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was disappointing. There was one pancake in the warmer and it was uneatable (so hard I couldn't cut it.) We waited a few minutes expecting the pancakes to be replenished. We finally asked one of the waitstaff if she could bring out more. We felt the waitstaff at breakfast had other things they would rather be doing. The service and food at Russel's the previous night was outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive as was the young man who filled our water glasses and cleared the table.

What a fantastic place to stay!! I went to an office After Christmas party last night and I didn't want to drive home so I booked myself a room, weeks in advance! The room was clean and perfect for myself! I don't like headlights so staying was the best option for me and I was not disappointed! I soaked in the jacuzzi.. twice. The coffee was delicious! Breakfast was ok. It was a bit cold but it hit the spot. Everyone was so friendly and professional. It was a magical experience!

The rooms are pretty outdated. The TV was super old too. The fridge didn't work so my pint of ice cream melted. It was nice having a jacuzzi tub, which fits two people comfortably. I ordered two mediocre desserts from room service which cost $37 before tip.
