The Village Inn Motel

Village Inn Motel has been a part of my hometown as the highschool, but it's had to fight addicts, and the stigma place on it. Me and the owners are close associates, but THAT will have no affect with this post...! The rooms are smallish, but have a few amenities; microwave, clothing iron and board, hair blow dryer, WiFi, fridge, TV w/cable, washer dryer room and ice machine. The room prices are good, and affordable. "Jay" and his wife are funny as hell,and have helped me and my husband out when they could. The business has a corner store and convenience store basically next door, and if you travel about 2 miles west towards BR, there are restaurants, stores supermarkets, etc.

When I first pulled up it gave me a belittling feeling but when I made it to the room it was really nice it wasn’t what I was expecting at all but the one thing I really disliked is the prices of the room I noticed they differed a bit I was charged 88.00 for a room with 2 beds while others paid 30.00 then I got charged 5 per room key other than the prices which I could have misread it was a great quiet place to stay I hope they fix the problem

Stayed a week. The room was nice. But the key wouldn't work for long periods of time. Had to constantly go to the office to get it recharged. After a few days the key wouldn't work at all nor would the tap master key. They had to use a metal key in the knob. But the location is great, minus taking a left out of there.

Paid to stay a week wanted a non smoking room got room that smelt like burnt cigarettes. Stay was cut short by 4 days wouldn’t give refund for nights not spent there. Said no refunds I never saw on sign when I signed in no refunds otherwise I would have paid by day. Room had no area to hang up any clothes. No lamp. Sink hot cold water switched. It’s real hard to get out of location at certain times. I guess because I was at second to last room internet wouldn’t work. TV had lines in it only had Cox cable didn’t have option to stream.

As low income as I've been to homelessness I have frequently stayed at the Village Inn the majority of my denham springs hotel stays since 2022. While the personal details of my stay are private I do want to stress how amazing in understanding the management was towards mental health issues that not just themselves but myself had no idea I was going through. It was stressful for him. But they've never turned me away. I gave the rooms a four-star just because of the lack of functionality related to today's times of technology. As a long-standing family-owned business here on the outskirts of the heart of the antique district.. I'm sure this hotel has seen many years Avis community rise and fall 3 floods and hurricanes.. but the family friendly atmosphere is above any other denham springs
