Comfort Suites Denham Springs

To start, I was in room 219 and the first two days my shower did not drain and left a slim on the bathtub, there was also an issue with the sink not draining as well. I requested that second day that it be fixed and cleaned and it was and that went. Friday morning I went to the front desk to report small clear bugs in the bathroom of my room on my fifth day in the hotel. I was told "we are in nature and bugs are in nature so we just have to deal with them." I was shocked by the lady's response. I asked to have new sheets put in my room for piece of mind and was told the policy is to have it scheduled the following day and pointed to the policy sign. I tried to walk away and she was still yelling at me that I couldn't have the sheets until tomorrow. I walked back over and explained

Clean and comfortable - great breakfast- would have given a 10, but my room didn’t have wash cloths and it smelled a little musty. Once I got some wash cloths from the front desk and set the AC to “dry” instead of cool, it was perfect. The staff was very friendly.

Room was clean and tidy. Had a good A/C unit quiet and easy to control. The room was spacious and the bathroom was laid out well. The negative was the breakfast. Powdered eggs , cheap sausage and no bagels. The staff was polite and helpful. We will stay here again.

Location was excellent, this the reason why I stayed at this location. The room had a moldy smell. I got accustomed to it after a while . There was a dehumidifier in the room, probably for that reason. Other than that it was an excellent room for the cost. The front desk… SUPER FRIENDLY!!! I even got a call to make sure I had everything I needed , for the night.

The first room they gave us 205 smelled like mold. There was no view, but if you want to see out of the window. You will have to open it. The tub was nasty. The staff was great. The breakfast was good. The location was the best part felt safe. Food entertainment all at your finger tips. Comfort suites needs to get there humidity under control in the building. The reason I gave it three stars was the 3rd night we stayed we were moved to room 311 and it was much better the mold smell was not as bad and the room was cleaner. I would stay again. I would just check my room before I pay.
