Carom Inn--A Travelodge by Wyndham Denham Springs/Baton Rouge

This is an extremely affordable option. Our room was spotless and stayed that way. Cleaned daily and they even folded our baby blankets! I've paid MUCH more, for way worse/less detailed service. Friendly people that care. Alot of very close places to eat. We will be back!!

I don't understand the negative reviews on this establishment. It was easy process to book online. The inside is actually better looking than the outside. I think the staff did a good job on cleaning and up keep. I understand there's a no pet policy so I think the negatives come from the pets. I like the bed comfy on the firm side. Lots of food options around and quiet. I did not hear traffic. I came to visit some friends and last min booking. I will book again great value.

I didn't see inside of any other rooms but this has got to be the cleanest room at a motel I've ever stayed in. It's comfortable. Only thing I had a problem with was there wasn't a coffee maker or coffee, shampoo was in a tiny packet so if you have long hair forget about washing your hair not enough in one packet, n if you like to watch TV at night forget it very limited selection of channels offered. These are however small things which I can overlook because the gentleman at the desk was very helpful n the caretaker, TJ, went out of his way to make me feel at home. I'll stay here everytime I'm in the area overnight. It is a little to noisy from people standing outside talking which I think shouldn't be allowed. People stop to relax n sleep not listen to people outside all night.

My stay here was interesting. I was visiting for a social event for the weekend. I didn't need to spend a lot of money; just somewhere nearby the location and a clean place to bathe, do some work on my computer, and sleep. I received all of these comforts, and I even went as far as wiping down my counters, toilet, TV remote and phone and there was NO residue on my disinfectant wipes. ||While my stay here was a little above average, there are some things that are subjective to my needs but also areas that need to be improved. ||PROS: | - BUDGET friendly| - Pleasant staff| - Easy check-in| - CLEAN room| - In room microwave and refrigerator (with freezer)| - Close to freeways | - Short driving distance to places to eat and stores| - Parking space outside my room| - Free cable channels | -
