The Villa Casa Casuarina At The Former Versace Mansion

Staying in the former Gianni Versace mansion makes the experience feel truly special—you can really sense the history, glamour, and iconic design that reflect Versace’s vision throughout the property. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, and the room was stunning. The swimming pool is breathtaking, and the bathroom was just as beautiful. That said, it feels more like a restaurant or a club destination than a traditional hotel. The pool, while visually stunning and well designed, is part of the restaurant setting and has only a few lounge chairs available. It was quite busy around the pool, and no one was actually swimming. I would absolutely recommend the restaurant and bar, staff is super nice and friendly!!

The service was prompt without ever feeling rushed, and every question or request was met with a positive attitude. The overall atmosphere was excellent and added so much to the experience. It’s clear that a lot of pride goes into what they do, and it really shows in the quality of service provided. This is one of those places that goes above and beyond to make sure customers leave happy. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a top-notch experience, and I will absolutely be returning.

Unfortunately, I have to give this place one star. My wife and I had been talking about coming here for a long time, and we were genuinely excited to finally visit for lunch. The architecture and scenery were absolutely beautiful, and the host was very kind to seat us even though we didn’t have a reservation. We started with appetizers and both chose salads, which were fresh and very tasty. Unfortunately, things took a turn when our main courses arrived. I ordered a burger, and after taking a bite, I noticed something unusual in my mouth. It was a piece of hair. When I cut the burger open, I found more hair inside the patty.
