Customer Reviews
We had a wonderful stay at the Townhouse Hotel in Richfield Springs with our family and our dog. The location was perfect for visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame and exploring Cooperstown—just a short, scenic drive away. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We really appreciated the freedom to use the shared kitchen and loved helping ourselves to fresh coffee each morning. Sabina checked us in and was incredibly kind and helpful. She recommended we dine at their Lake House restaurant, we enjoyed a delicious meal while watching a beautiful sunset over the lake and listening to live music. Highly recommend this spot for families, pet owners, or anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly place to stay near Cooperstown!
Booked 3 night stay on 5/3/24 for 5/25/24. On 5/20 I received a call from the owner stating they were overbooked. Offered a stay at a different property. I declined and requested a refund. Instructed by Expedia to cancel booking even thought it was after the cancel. window. No refund from owner, and expedia says he won't return their calls.
Place is terrible….. floors were falling apart. Beds were absolutely terrible stained sheets. The rooms were full of mold and disgusting. Smells the toilet did not flush let alone no water in the toilet pictures are way too deceiving would not recommend this place to anybody was supposed to have three nights. I didn’t last an hour until I repack all my stuff and went and found another room and they kept all the money for all three nights…. Horrible customer service
I stayed here in 2022 July. Horrible experience. Dont Do It! Unsafe. Old. Used. Spooky. Raggedy. I was shaken by the experience and felt intimidated by the owner and didn't post a review at that time. I was scared for my safety before and after my stay.
DISGUSTING. HORRIBLE. OLD PHOTOS. SHARED LIVING AREAS. TERRIBLE OWNERS. Nothing about this place was okay. We showed up and left. No refunds. We lost all our money, but it was worth it. Front door didn’t lock. The living room and kitchen area was shared, which we weren’t told ahead of time. The bedroom was at the top of the stairs, next to another persons bedroom. Just completely insane. The photos weren’t at all accurate. The place is falling apart. Floors aren’t level. Fridges are disgusting. Just an absolutely terrible place that I would NEVER let my family stay at. Tried calling the owner to express how unacceptable it was, but he kept saying no refunds and hung up on me. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Whatever you do - DO NOT stay here. Oh, and the lake? It’s like a
