First off this is not located in Cooperstown. It’s roughly 20-30 mins away so keep that in mind. This location is very rural…farm country. We rented a dog friendly cabin. Upon arrival we could tell that the cabin just had a quick turnaround and a once over. The floors weren’t even swept. Tub had a huge stain. Cabin was small but as expected. No TV in the cabin. Bunks in the cabin are for kids only as there was no way an adult is fitting. Campgrounds: It’s a smaller campground. Nice views of the surrounding areas. Maintained decent and you can see they are adding improvements. Small playground area. Very small basketball court. Pickle ball court (was being painted). Didn’t use the public showers or public restrooms. Sites had shade and most seemed to be pull through. “Dog park” is just a f

Not all KOAs are created equal, and unfortunately our stay at Cooperstown KOA left a lot to be desired. It was our first time at this location. We stayed only one night in one of the cabins. The cabin itself was clean enough upon arrival, but it lacked some basic essentials. There were no extra paper towels, no sponge for washing dishes, and the patio furniture was in rough shape — with some chairs broken or held together with zip ties. The double bed was extremely uncomfortable. It honestly felt like sleeping on hay bales propped up on toothpicks — not a good night’s rest at all. For the price, I expected better upkeep and attention to detail. The campground overall was just okay. What really stood out was how many activities were completely shut down, which made the place feel empty a

So peaceful and quiet being located out in the country surrounded by farm fields. Nice distance between campsites. We have a 42’ fifthwheel and had no issues in maneuvering around campground and our pull-through site was nice and level. Pleasant staff, nice store, nice pool and playground. Would most definitely stay here again. Definitely big rig friendly! And plenty of tall trees and nice shade around the campsites which all have nice lawn space too. We loved our setting.

First impressions is a lot for any business.. with that being said most importantly I will go back if I can.. but when we first arrived to the KOA Kampground welcome offfice we seen a note written on a piece of paper no pets allowed in the store.. ok we can respect that.. but upon entering there is a cat laying in a basket.. and a bigger dog laying on the floor.. and the store was a hot mess.. and there area to walk to the counter was the same.. the check in lady was great.. but it wasn’t a great first impression.. we came back a few days later to see items in the store and it didn’t get picked up still a mess and there was dog food all over the floor we had to watch were we stepped so we wouldn’t smoosh it in the floor all I kept thinking was mice will love this..so in my opinion that nee

We spent a couple nights while visiting Basball Hall of Fame. It's about 20 minutes away from Cooperstown. This place was great for a getaway for sure. It is very isolated though there is a small town about 5 minutes away. Really quiet and really dark. Seemed well kept.
