The Tides Laguna Beach

Great location and service. My brother lives close by so its an obvious choice for us, especially when travelling with my family. The large room had plenty of space for a family of 4 with a nearby grocery store and a full kitchen, eating at the hotel was easy every morning. There was a heated pol which our boys loved and it was also nearby the main beach and other smaller beaches, lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Grab a pizza at Grazie Grazie and enjoy the sunset on the lawn across the street.

Positive: I loved how we had numerous rooms. For a five day stay, we were not cramped up in a small Roman with just a bed. The location was so close to town, we could walk everywhere. Negative: On the older side, but was very clean!

We stayed at The Tides Thanksgiving week, 2025. For Laguna, it was a great place to stay on a budget, and we had a fridge and microwave. |We cant get enough of the atmosphere in Laguna and The Tides fits right in and is fairly close to everything. |The art in Laguna is interesting to look at and it's a fun place to people watch too. Heisler Park and Picnic beach are so close, the walk is super easy.|The service at The Tides is nice, they have umbrellas and beach chairs you can borrow, which is so handy.|We were in room 107 and it was great! A few repairs could be made like the toilet paper roll holder and the electrical outlets could stand updating. But the room was spotless and the towels are incredibly soft and thick. Loved the close proximity to main beach. Very clean and comfortable room (207). We grilled out on-site and had dinner in front of the fireplace. Such a nice setting and a great place to unwind. We enjoyed our stay and will be back! We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary.

This was a great little spot! Staff is so friendly and easy going. Great location, steps from the beach and lots of dining options. Parking included on property which was good as well. We will be glad to stay again someday!
