The Stiles Hotel

This was my 1st time at a hostel & I’m so glad I chose Viajero. It was perfect as a solo traveler. Everyone was very friendly & the hostel had daily activities to foster engagement. In addition, their group messaging through WhatsApp offered even more options. ||I stayed in a female only 6 bed dorm. My bed was very comfortable, the room was big, & the bathroom was spacious as well. I really liked that each bunk had its own curtain for privacy and offered 2 lights: one for reading & 1 for overall brightness. ||Not only was this property a great value, the location really can’t be beat as it’s right in the center of action in South Beach. I have nothing negative to say. I’d recommend this hostel to anyone.

The entrance is nice and the hostel is overall fun-looking and nice. The bedroom was quite basic, with a strong smell of detergent and a very dirty carpet outside the room. Overall it has a lot of potential but isn't well taken care of, making the stay less comfortable.||Staff is quite unhelpful and doesn't seem to be very interested in providing a good service. It's acceptable to stay for a night, but very basic.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. My room was just a enough for two people. Bathroom sink is a little outdated but as long as there was hot water running I don't care. The shower was hot and the AC in the room was sufficient. Hidden gem during night time hours by the lobby. Bed was comfortable and my room had a view that faced the 3 pools. Pools were nice , warm and maintained. I will be staying here again!

I would not recommend this hotel. We found our room floor to be very dirty. We felt the hotel smelled like pot all the time. We were also surprised to get charged a $28.50 resort fee. When I asked what the fee was for they told me that it was for a bottle of water that was in our refrigerator and a coffee in the morning, which neither of us drink and the use of the two little pools that nobody used. The sink stopper was stuck down in the sink and I had to pry it out so we could use the sink. Very disappointed, but I guess you only get what you pay for. There are so many nicer hotels along Miami Beach that would be better. The TV had a very weird color hue in it. And we also had to listen to the beating of loud music for most of the evening.

I just checked in at around 11am. The elevator is broken. I go to my room and the water isn’t working! I call downstairs to see what is going on they tell me the water will be off for a few hours. I proceed to let them know how inconvenient this is and they could have told me this before I checked in and they HUNG UP IN MY FACE! That was disrespectful and unprofessional! This will definitely be my last time coming here! And they said they can’t discount my room or give me a refund!
