The Standard Spa, Miami Beach

I spent a few days at The Standard Spa in Miami Beach and it was one of those stays that felt different from your typical hotel — in a good way most of the time. The place is set on a quiet little island off the main beach strip, so it doesn’t feel as hectic as South Beach itself, and I really enjoyed being able to wander around the gardens and down by the water just steps from the pool. The spa and pool were definitely highlights. I went for a couple of treatments and also just hung out by the hydrotherapy areas — steam room, hammam, cold plunge and all — which was a nice way to decompress after walking around Miami. I’m a local and have the pleasure of hanging here often for a pool or spa day! but my favorite thing about standard by far is getting a massage with Jacob. He is so knowledgeable & relaxing all at the same time. Will recommend him forever, he is truly the best.

The standard hotel is the best adult playground! Soo relaxing and amazing every time. If you are looking to disconnect from everyday life and detox from daily stress and live in a bath robe all day spa vibes and no worries this is the place for you!

100% loved everything from the trendy decor and rooms, to the service and spa! Getting away from below zero weather for only 3 days was well spent, and I for sure want to return as soon as possible. There was 4 of us, including a Birthday girl. The staff were very thoughtful and helped to make this visit extra special for her. Everything was very organized and accommodating, wasn’t able to bring my pup but loved that the signs said they could stay for free, maybe I’ll bring him with me next time! Loved seeing all the guests with paws! The cafe ladies were so refreshingly pleasant, I looked forward to seeing them.🙂 My spa experience was incomparable, definitely the best experience in my 14 years of visiting spas. Just got back from my stay and I have to share that the standard Miami should be the hotel that really sets the standard. The staff was warm and always attentive The atmosphere was relaxing, but very stimulating if love to people watch. The Rates We’re actually reason reasonable for hotel of this of this caliber. Plus being a New Yorker went a short flight to get what we all need some salad R&R
