The Stallings House

Beautiful house, beautiful view! Unfortunately the house was filthy. Kitchen was nasty, all the furniture was caked in dust, we wiped our hands on it and hands were gray! the floor on the top floor was also caked in dust. Bent down to get into bed and spider web all in my face. Lots of uneven places in floor, house needs updating and fixing up. Loved the porch and the view but overall was embarrassed to invite family/friends there. You think the amount of money you pay they would use some of that to hire someone to clean!

Wonderful house on the river! Great view from house looking over the water either from ground level wrap around porch or 2nd floor wrap around porch. Very nice landscaping. Interior upgrades in recent years - full baths on second and third floors. Good Wi-Fi coverage in house. Basic cable TV on living room. Pier from property onto river. Caught several small spotted trout, croaker and 20 inch red drum. Definitely will go back!

Sits right on the river. Fantastic wrap around porch and beautiful views. Huge house perfect for group get-aways. This will be our 3rd year having a retreat at this fabulous, relaxing home.

House has such a historical feel to it. Seemed to be a lot of the original furnishings in the house which gave a nice environment to stay in. Definiatly feel the 1845 feel to it.

Perfect location with beautiful views. Specious house but shows it's age as it needs updating and serious cleaning (especially the kitchen & the appliances big and small)
