River Neuse Suites

From the time we arrived we had excellent service! The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the river! We were a short walk from everything in town, but they also provide bikes! Best prices and experience in town and we will definitely be returning!

Absolutely the best place to be if you are looking for a peaceful place to watch the most amazing sunrises you have ever seen, go fishing, and sitting alongside the river. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, about 8:30 in the evening, the hotel had a hot water issue but the manager called me to let me know. Told me it would be fixed by morning...and it was! Thats service! The hotel has all of the necessities of home...making it the perfect home away from home. I highly recommend River Neuse Suites!

This place HATES THE HANDICAPPED!!! My wife and I stayed here for a few days back in September, I am in a wheelchair so we stayed on the first floor. As soon as we got into our room my wife had to make the bed, it was just a bare mattress, she had to put the sheets and all on. We had no towels and the garbage can was overflowing with the previous nights guest empty beer bottles and takeout dishes. All that being said, the absolute cherry on the cake was when the wheelchair ramp collapsed not once but twice while I was on it!! Causing me to injure my back and damaged my wheelchair. Once I managed to get back to my room I was trapped there with no way to leave. It was an absolute horrible stay

We stayed in one of the King bed suites. The unit was very clean and the kitchenette was stocked with dishes, paper towels, coffee, condiments and coffee maker. The location is within walking distance to a few local eateries and the waterfront park. We really enjoyed the view from our unit as well. Our cell service was spotty but we connected to the wifi and were able to have good service. We will definitely stay here again on our return visit.

We were in town for a wedding at the River Dunes development. It was about a 13 minute drive. Not bad. I loved this nice motel. ❤️ The rooms were very neat and tidy. Great bedding and towels. Nice kitchen efficiency set up. We booked a room that did not have the interior steps. A beautiful, grand view of the river. Five minute walk on the water to local coffee and bagel shop called The Bean. Oriental, NC is not a fancy place. Small enough to become familiar with quickly and the locals were kind and chatty.
