The Skylark - a Palm Springs Hotel

Adorable retro motel resort vibe with small free parking lot. A lot of attention was put into decor. The ‘front desk’ is a camper. Really tasteful and adorable. Refreshing pool and hot tub in comfortable pool area. Nice fluffy pool towels & bathrobes provided. Much appreciated. There is a wonderful restaurant & bar on site. We ate dinner there twice over our 3 night stay which says a lot since we are real foodies. The breakfast was included which was good but repetitive, basic, which is fine. The breakfast attendant was very attentive. Our only complaint was that our room was not made up on one day of our stay despite the please make up room sign was displayed on the knob and it was disappointing to come in from a whole day out to a messy bed. If not for that, really my rating would be 10

Great little mid century modern gem! Nice clean property with spacious rooms and a nice pool area. The continental breakfast was a surprise~ bacon, eggs and hash browns instead of pastries and cereal. They have bike you can use to ride to downtown which is only 1.5 miles away. The staff is what really made this place stand out. We had a little issue with some noisy neighbors directly above us, and Scott and Walter were so nice in taking care of us and making sure we were comfortable. I would definitely stay at Skylark again!

Fun, retro motel in Palm Springs! We stayed at the Skylark for our girl’s get-away weekend. The pool was fantastic.. always enough chairs for everyone. The atmosphere here was fun, but not party city, which is exactly what we wanted. The rooms were so clean and spacious with very comfy beds. All the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved our stay here! Would highly recommend.

The Skylark Hotel was a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a nice retro style. The pool area was very relaxing with a beautiful mountain view. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was good—close to downtown but still quiet. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
