The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club ~ Miami Beach

We recently stayed at The Savoy Hotel in Miami and had a wonderful experience. The property has a relaxed atmosphere and a great beachfront location that makes it convenient for enjoying Miami Beach. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the setting offered a nice balance between being close to the action while still feeling somewhat tucked away. The amenities were enjoyable, particularly the pool area and easy beach access. The staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful during our visit. I can't give 5 star for rooms, since I was here for the beach club service only. I wish I came last min. For the beach club day pass since they have a promotion where you just need to spend $69 dollars. Other than that the facility was great, small, cozy, tropical and clean! Pool is small, and there were two, one heated and other just normal. You get beach chairs too, but only if you pay the full price of the day pass, which is $50 without food. Comes with towels too! Food and service was very good too, except the tortillas chips with gracomole was soggy and stale. I ask to change, but they were a bit reluctant.... saying it's the way it is. They changed it after, but not the full basket when it was returned. Other than that, it's a great place for post cruise hangout before your fligh

The Savoy is the perfect blend of luxury and historical charm. From the moment you arrive, it feels like a hidden paradise tucked away from the busy streets of Miami Beach, offering a private, lush green oasis that feels worlds apart from the energy outside but right in the middle. Located in the South of Fifth neighborhood, it’s walkable to the ocean and perfectly situated. Peaceful yet close to everything. I have been guest in this paradise for over 10 years , PERFECTION . Quiet secluded oasis , true south beach Miami heritage property well maintained and only a stone throw away from the beach . Lush gardens surround their two pools ...bar restaurant St.Tropez style ..rooms spacious always clean with confy mattress . Huge french doors open to balconies both from living and bedroom spaces...having morning coffee overlooking blue ocean and the skies...Unfortunately this past visit I was confronted with the most ridiculous beach policy by their beach manager " even as a guest of the hotel I am not allowed to keep my beach chaise lounge empty for more then 1/2 hour or it will be given to other due to high volume of visitors " WHAT?????!!!?? |so i took off for lunch break got back in 2 hour

Positive: Great location staff very friendly but hotel is very small and dated. Things are rusted pool was not clean grounds of the pool area very old and plants overgrown. Not worth the price. Won?t stay there again. Negative: We arrived early afternoon and hotel had no towels available for the beach area. I was very frustrated for the price I paid to what we got.
