The Roost Cabins and RV at Medina Lake

The hosts made us feel so welcome on their property and it didn't feel like a business transaction - it felt more like spending the night at my cousin's house. The rooms are comfortable and big! We loved feeding the chickens and turkeys. They had the nicest rooster! It is in walking distance to the 4 way Bar and Grill and several other businesses. We set up a fire at night and relaxed. We will definitely be back!

The Roost is a friendly place with a very homey atmosphere. The rooms are sparkling clean and the bed is very cozy and comfy. The hospitality treats you like family and make you feel like home. You get a down right country feel being out there. Peaceful enough to enjoy the scenery quietly both night and day. Not to mention a couple of near by places for some night time entertainment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next visit. I would highly recommend to anyone to book a stay. Whether visiting alone, with friends/family or as a couple it is a great getaway

Amazing place to stay. Went with my partner and our two dogs, enjoyed the property, and the fenced in property. We were able to feed chickens and take home some fresh eggs! Will definitely come back if we stop in the San Antonio area again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rooster Cabins. From the moment we arrived, Brenden the host and his lovely lady were nothing short of impeccable. They truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, welcoming, and easy for me and my husband. As backroad enthusiasts, this place was a dream come true. The location is perfect for exploring, unwinding, and soaking in the beauty of the area. The sunrise stop overlooking the lake was absolutely breathtaking — one of those moments you don’t forget. Peaceful, well cared for, and full of heart. We will for sure be back and can’t recommend it enough!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I really enjoyed my stay at The Roost Cabins! This little gem is located in Lakehills, Tx. In the Texas Hill county. There are lots of chickens, roosters and Turkeys running around that you can feed and even pet. The cabin was spotless and very well kept, and the beds were extremely comfortable — I slept so well! It’s a peaceful, relaxing place to unwind, and the property is very well taken care of! Brendan the owner of the property is a retired Navy Chief and is happy to greet you! Brendan and his staff take pride in The Roost Cabins & will always make sure your stay is pleasant! I'd definitely recommend The Roost Cabins to anyone looking for a clean, cozy getaway, not far from San Antonio! If I could give this place 20 stars, I definitely would! We will definitely be back
