Lake Medina RV Resort

This is a hidden gem!! Lovely park filled with oaks tucked back away from the busyness of the world. Jo and her team are amazingly helpful and always trying to make your stay better. Each lot has more room than any park we've ever been to. Even though the lake is down, it is still breathtakingly beautiful. We love it here!

This a beautiful private gated resort. Not only do they have Shaded RV Sites that gave us a feeling like we were real time camping vs a parking lot campground but they also have spacious Hilltop Cabins that our friends who didn't own an RV could stay in!!! This place is one of a kind being that the owners are also hands on and own the adjacent ranch that has been in their family for over a hundred years. I really enjoyed hearing about the history of their ranch and all the stories they have that go back before the dam was built. My family and I love this place and all the fantastic family and fun events they have. The wildlife is abundant, the area peaceful and the lake is gorgeous!

We spent the last 6 months of weekends here and really enjoyed ourselves! The only thing that would make it better is the return of the lake! Sites are well spaced and there are lots of trees. There is a rec room for group activities, picked ball and basketball courts. There are a few trails on the property which is a gated working cattle ranch. I loved seeing the longhorns! I recommend a good pair of hiking boots/shoes. There is an abundance of deer as well and we enjoyed watching them behind our campsite!

We had a nice two-night stay in a cabin. The cabins sit up high above the resort with a good view to the surrounding area. We met a number of nice people. There's a nice play pool near the office and rec room building. The park is nicely maintained. Unfortunately, and I feel for everyone in the area, the lake has been dry for a few years now. There's plenty of other things to do at the park and in the surrounding area. It's a nice place to kick back and relax!

Our site was great, the staff top-notch, the club house cafe needs attention, the putt-putt was nice, the trails and roads were good, the deer were cool to watch, propane service was appreciated and the pool/hot tub looks nice. Will visit again.
