The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe

It didn’t feel much of luxury here tbh. Yes you get your own ski resort in your backyard..other than that..there’s not much amenities to enjoy. Not as kid friendly. Dining can be really expensive here so best to take a gondola to the northstar village. Cute they have their own gondola. Staff are nice but they are limited to what they can provide. Check in was a bit weird where I thought the guy was new. They gave us champagne which is a nice touch. Rooms didn’t see too clean as I saw some areas that were missed. For the cost, I don’t think it gave luxury. Unless you spent the $600 per day for the club access lounge.they offer a tent for kids packages for $200+ We don’t plan on staying here again and prefer to stay at other resorts. It can get boring here.. Valet opens driver door but skips

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe was outstanding from start to finish. The property is stunning, well maintained, and truly captures the relaxing mountain atmosphere. During our visit, some unexpected needs came up, and we reached out to Juan G., who was immediately attentive, understanding, and extremely helpful in ensuring everything was handled seamlessly. His professionalism and kindness made a significant difference in our experience.||Additionally, Convent and Javier at the concierge desk provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care exemplify the world-class hospitality that The Ritz-Carlton brand is known for. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their assistance elevated our trip

We had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful. Really enjoyed the ski in ski out. Food, service and resort were great. We had an issue with one breakfast and mentioned it to the waitress and the whole meal was comped. So great as all of the other food we had there was really good. It was hard to get someone on the phone, front desk was the best bet and they were great about getting you what you needed. A snowboarding boot we owned had a cable break the last day and True North gave us a complimentary boot rental that day. Most everyone seemed to really care that we had a wonderful experience. The spa was great, staff was wonderful there too. Also enjoyed the hot tubs! Great access to the village and Truckee. We really had a great time!

My partner and I had recently revealed that we were pregnant, and wanted to have a romantic peaceful afternoon up in the snow since we weren't able to ski. Upon reading the description at the Ritz-Carlton of their Fireside experience we decided this would be perfect for what we wanted. Once we arrived and were shown to our fireplace, we found that the fireplace setting didn't quite meet what we were looking for or expecting from the description we read online. Upon vocalizing that to food & beverage operarions manager Renzo Escobedo, Renzo made our ideal fireplace experience come to life. He and his staff created a peaceful fire side lounge fitting of the description that was online. my mini mountaineer stay was beyond polished. the service was impeccable & flawless from check-in to checkout. The staff made me feel completely taken care of From front desk to the club lounge. The view was top-notch and room was incredibly comfortable. You can really see the hospitality & difference in quality. They were so sweet to send me a mini cake since this was around my birthday xx I hope to return here sometime in the summer time.
