The Cottages at Old Greenwood

First, we booked the lodging at The Cottages through Hayden who was very knowledgeable and easy to work with from the get go. He was always available to answer questions and everything he represented was accurate. The cottages are large and have incredible views of the snow converted golf course. The unit itself was beautiful (tastefully decorated with soaring ceilings) and spacious with three bedrooms, each with its own bath. We were a family with parents, grandparents , a kid and a dog and the place was more than spacious enough for all of us. The large kitchen was especially delightful as we ate a few meals at home. We had a wonderful stay in our two bedroom cottages at old Greenwood and they took great care of us. Love the room rooms in the layout of the buildings and the spa tub after skiing was fantastic. This is a great place to base yourself for skiing at Alpine and Palisades and Northstar. The location is great and convenient to all the shops and restaurants in Truckee, but the house was really outfitted nicely and we cooked most nice in looking forward to coming back in the summer for some golf on the Old Greenwood GC.

Booked with Hayden who was a pleasure and incredibly responsive. The Cottage was a large home with three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, a large gourmet kitchen and a gorgeous sitting area. The place accommodated 5 adults and 1 kid (and a dog) perfectly. It had a two car garage that came in handy for loading and unloading our ski gear. Greenwood is about 10 mins away from Truckee and 15 minutes away from North Star and there is a free shuttle to North Star. An incredible bonus is access to the Mountain Club at North Star for the ski valet and free lift tickets for one day. The views from the cottage onto the snow-covered golden course were the cherry on top.

Frist time staying here. Cottages are very -- very nice. Fully stocked with everything needed if you plan on cooking. Nice BBQ on deck. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Highly reamend. If your a golfer the golf package is a great deal both courses are very nice. Staff was also very friendly.

My friends had their wedding here and it was so perfect fit everyone to gather throughout the long weekend. The cottage we stayed in was perfect for my family (2 Grandparents, Wife, 4 year old and me). My 4 year old loved the play park and the pool. The grill setup was great too. Having a gas line to the grill is cheating!
