The Renwick Hotel

Paid for very early check in at 10:30 am because of early morning arrival of our long haul flight to NYC. My husband & I arrived even earlier than 10:30 and were pleasantly surprised when we were allowed to check in to our room already. The room was large and clean and had a great view of the Empire State building. We were provided with free bottled water and the room was cleaned daily. We liked that it’s in a quiet area and close to Grand Central station. We had a very comfortable 4 night stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again when we come back to the city.

Excellent location, room size good as well as full size bathroom with excellent shower. Front desk responsive to questions and concerns. Fun bar/restaurant connected to hotel. Free bottled water daily. Towels and linen soft. Bed super comfortable. I lived in NYC for 10 years so never needed hotel room. This was a great pick. Stayed on 16 floor - 2 bed room boutique hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for a week and we can say nothing but that it was very good. The room was spacious enough for two people. We had two double beds. The shower was perfectly fine. The beds were excellent and very comfortable — we slept wonderfully. Even though we were on the fourth floor at the front of the hotel, we hardly experienced any noise, despite construction work going on nearby. The only small downside was that there were some little flies in the room, which seemed to come in through the bathroom vents. However, this was very minimal. Perhaps the vents could be cleaned thoroughly once, but overall the cleanliness of the room, the daily water refills, and everything else were very well taken care of. We recently stayed four nights at The Renwick Hotel in New York City. We were a family of three—two adults and a 5-year-old—and chose this hotel specifically because of the room layout. We booked a Gallery King Studio Suite, as it offered a separate living room with a sofa bed for our son and a private bedroom for us. After searching extensively for a two-room setup at a reasonable price, The Renwick was the only good option that met our needs.||Room & Layout|The room layout worked extremely well for our family. There was plenty of space, a comfortable king-size bed, and a surprisingly good sofa bed in the living room. We appreciated having two TVs and enough drawers and cabinets for storage. However, there were very few hangers, which made organizing clothes a bit challenging.||Bathroom|T

Hotel is at a great location. The sofa bed in the room for 4 is a little small to fit 2 pax and lack of bathroom amenities. Air conditioning was not working for one of the night and the hotel gave us a 50% discount for that night, due to this - the refunded amount on my credit card does not matched and have yet to hear from the staff. Staff at the reception are not very helpful and gave different information.
