The Polynesian Resort

Rooms weren’t the greatest- wasn’t stocked very well, there was garbage random places and my bathroom lights didn’t work due to the outlet breaker flipping- my phone in my room also didn’t work. Hot tub was broken and the pool that they claimed was kept at 85 was actually more like 72. Staff was rude and lazy. I asked a family member that is also staying here to call the front desk and ask for them to bring me a blanket and sheets for the pull out couch- their response was that I had to go get it myself. Mind you, my one year old was already asleep, I was the only adult in the room, so I was forced to either wake my 1 year old up or leave him in the room with my 11 year old and 6 year old. When I got to the front desk I asked why I had to come down and get it myself. His response was “I’m

Positive: Nothing we changed hotels Negative: Pool was freezing cold and nasty and had algee in it. Also the rooms were very outdated. Changed hotels within 20 min of getting there but they made us pay for 1 night.

I had a wonderful wonderful stay. My mom is allergic to flea meds. I didn’t realize the room I booked is pet friendly. I just wasn’t thinking about it as I booked. The front desk person. Eric. Switched me to a more accommodating room. As it was also very busy in clam season. I so appreciate the Polynesian and Eric for his help. Thank you.

Amazing place with cheaper than normal rates. Some rooms don't have great internet but I found one with 5/5 bars. Hot water is about 15 minutes long but it fills quickly again. Other than that it's clean, nice, and a lovely view.

Stayed in room #205 with my family for three nights, a one bedroom with two queens and sleeper sofa. The room was clean, beds comfortable and walls newly painted with nice artwork on shelfs and walls. Particularly enjoyed the new 55" Smart TV. There is a cozy fireplace and fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances that we took advantage of two of the three days. Also happy to have it dog friendly with only a short trip to the dog park area with our two small dogs. I think this is the only place with their own large "Poly" park for volleyball, basketball, swings, barbeque picnics and extra parking. The Polynesian is in the process of upgrading their units and is now under new management too. We have come to the Polynesian since it was newly built, one of our favorites, and look
