The Pine Tavern Lodge

I highly recommend staying at the Pine Tavern Lodge. My husband and I love Floyd, and it is our happy place. The Pine Tavern Lodge is becoming a home away from home. The room is comfortable and clean. They provide little amenities like snacks and mints. You are about 2 miles from the Floyd Country Store, which makes returning from a program a very short drive. We are looking forward to our next trip to Floyd and to staying at the Pine Tavern Lodge again.

There were two of us and it was perfect. We stayed in Room 4. A clean, quiet suite with a sitting room and bedroom. Historic charm and feel. Minutes away from The Floyd Country Store on the historic Crooked Road Tour in Floyd, VA. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room. We couldn't have been more satisfied. More than we expected, especially for the price. And we got to bring our dog! Dave, the owner, was welcoming and friendly. We will be back!

Outstanding host. Room was very clean and the accommodations just perfect. We have stayed here in the past and they have consistently exceeded our expectations. The location is near town and very convenient. Look forward to our next visit!!

I have stayed in 5 of the 6 rooms (thank you winter weather) and am always pleased with the rooms. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the showers have plenty of hot water with good pressure, each room has its own heat control. Located 1 mile from the edge of Floyd, it feels like country without the distance. Try it, you will be pleased.

Visiting my sister in the area, this was the perfect location to stay. Outside town, but a short drive to all the activity the town offers. This motel felt whimsical from the outside and so cozy inside. I stayed in in Suite #5, 2 rooms - bedroom with King bed and sitting area and kitchenette. Also a full size bathroom with a walk in shower. |The owner checked me in and spent time explaining the little things to me. There is a deck out the back door of the bedroom, but it was cold and snow so I didn't take advantage of it. |The property was clean, rooms were clean and stocked with essentials. If you enjoy a simple pleasure of a cozy place outside of the normal hotel life, I highly recommend staying here.
