Green Acres Resort Floyd

I had such a wonderful time last weekend with family and friends at Green Acres Resort. The resort itself is beautiful, with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy, and it’s also conveniently close to town. Bruce, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming—he truly made our experience special. This was by far one of the best getaways I’ve had, and I highly recommend Green Acres Resort to anyone planning a family gathering. Such a fun spot to stay in Floyd VA! We enjoyed the laid back vibes and hanging out on the beach. The bath house is such a nice addition for showers. I would highly recommend Green Acres Resort! Great for a family with kids or for a couple of friends spending the weekend exploring the mountains of Virginia. Really close to the Blue Ridge Parkway too!

What an awesome place to stay! We totally enjoyed being at Green Acres, very cool retro "Glampers" that are comfortable and affordable. Large spring fed pond with beach area, paddleboards and a big float. Beautifully done Shower house, short walk into main street Floyd where there's cool restaurants, shops and music. Great Job Bruce! Rachael and her hubby are on site to help with any questions. Definitely will be back.

Great experience! Convenient location, accommodations and service - great for a rustic camping weekend. 35 family members gathered for 2.5 days for fun and fellowship! Enjoyed the sun, pond beach, campfires, cornhole, pickleball and beautiful night sky. Bruce and his staff were awesome and welcoming. We appreciated his interaction and availability. Highly recommend this venue and we will be back!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Green Acres Resort! Bruce was a fantastic host and it’s really cool what they’ve done with the place. The vintage trailers are super cool and found the beds to be very comfortable. We stayed in the Sweet Suite, it was super charming. Also, the campground restrooms and shower house were clean and spacious, which was nice as the trailer bathroom can be a little small. In the mornings we got to see deer and foxes outside of the kitchen window. Location to town was amazing and can’t wait to go back to enjoy their beach and pickleball courts. One heads up, this might not be everyone’s cup of tea. A few things to expect ahead of your stay: 1. This is glamping. We had a few harmless bugs in our trailer that we relocated outside.
