The Park on Main

We were planning for our trip to Highlands when my wife found this dog-friendly hotel. We decided to book it and I have to say we were totally delighted! The hotel is very cute, the rooms are spacious, the location is perfect, the staff is helpful, and being able to bring our two dogs along for hikes and walks was the cherry on top. Rooms are very clean, no pet smell at all, and we were nicely able to fit our family of 4 and our 2 dogs into a queen suite. They offer a continental breakfast in the lobby each morning. And we discovered that an after-dinner bottle of wine in front of the fire was the perfect way to end the evening! Loved this place and can't recommend it enough if you want to bring your furry friends along for the trip.

We visited Highlands for a special birthday trip and brought our dog, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel! The staff truly goes above and beyond to make your visit memorable. Christy was so helpful leading up to our arrival, and upon check-in she surprised us with a happy birthday banner in the room- such a thoughtful touch! Keith was wonderful in the evenings, always ready to answer questions and offer recommendations. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with an incredible shower that felt spa-like. (The beds are on the firmer side, which is worth noting if you prefer a softer mattress.) Our stay with our pup was extraordinary! The rooms are clean and comfortable. But the real star of our stay was the staff. Every person we met was kind, hospitable, and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near favorite restaurants and shops, and just minutes away from Highland's best outdoor activities. Thank you Park on Main for a wonderful weekend in the mountains!

DON'T BOOK HERE! After receiving my confirmation number and agreeing to their terms, I woke up to an extra few hundred dollars out of my bank account because they made a computer error. The first 2 people I spoke to were rude. The Operating Manager, Jamie, was calm and thoughtful, but it was out of her hands. Devon Allio had informed her that this discount would not be given due to their mistake. They agreed to return my funds, bless them. Needless to say, I will not recommend them any longer due to a breach in our contract. This is the southern hospitality that this town exhibits.

This is the Ritz Carlton for dogs - and for people too!! The rooms are spacious, clean and so comfortable. The location couldn't be better ... walkable to everything and easy parking. This is the BEST place to stay in Highlands.
