The Old Mill Log Cabins in Afton Wyoming

Stayed in Aspen Cabin Sept 2025. Really lovely place to stay in a nice, clean, and cosy cabin. Comfy beds, good shower, nice towels. A fridge, coffee machine (with cups), air con, and WiFi all provided. Probably our inexperience of lodges in the US, but crockery and cutlery not provided, so bring some paper plates etc with you.|We stayed here as an overnight stop between Salt Lake City and The Grand Tetons NP. A good place to break the journey - pleased we booked to stay on our trip back too.

Our stay ok. There couple things. First don’t look at the photo on there website. It shows that they have a fire pit. They don’t. It shows that you can have access to the water and you don’t. I don’t like how there house down the road. We could not explore the area because we was afraid we walking around someone house. Second the water pressure was weak.

This was a wonderful 1 night stay that we wish had been longer! My husband and I stayed in the Lodgepole cabin and found it to be comfortable and had everything we needed. It is clear the cabin has been lovingly maintained and decorated. The area is so very peaceful, tucked between 2 mountain hillsides. I loved hearing the nearby stream as I sat on the porch rocking chair drinking coffee. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Great location, excellent accomodation. The cabin has excellent furnishing. Comfortable beds, refrigerator and microwave oven. Ample room indoors and lovely rocking chairs on the porch, where you hear the breeze in the forest.

If you like log cabins you will love it. Very clean and comfortable beds and bedding. Bath and shower was good as well. Wife really liked the natural hardwood floors. Location is tucked in little creek bottom off a dirt road slightly off the highway so it is nice and quiet. The is no scenic view from the room, but a very short drive down to the highway changes that. If you are staying around Afton and want a cabin experience, it's worth the stay.
