Bar H Motel

I had to rate this place a 5, for starters I arrived a day before the first of many snow storms and the weather went from 70 degrees to 32 over night and the weather continued to drop way into the negative digits. Fast forward, I spent 6 months at the Bar-H and it was the most pleasant place to stay at. I had a very comfortable cabin with all the creature comforts of home. The cabin was well heated, a full functioning kitchen, full size bed, and full functioning bathroom and my stay came with housekeeping. And the driveway was always plowed by 5am after every snow storm. The town of Afton is located in StarValley, Wyoming. Its only |1hr - 30mins from Jackson Hole and a little over 2hrs to the Grand Tetons ski Resort. The Bar-H is located directly within walking distance to all restaurants

Great overall experience! Made reservation over the phone. The owner Lance was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a quaint little cabin that even had a full kitchen. The room was VERY clean! Comfortable beds, nice decor, newer carpet, good A/C. Right in downtown, walking distance to all shops, eats, and bars!

Bar H was recommended to us by Colters Lodge next door. What a wonderful place. We had a full cabin with two bedrooms and a full kitchen for $100/night. The owners were so accommodating The place was spotless and appeared to be a new build, not a refurbished older place. We enjoyed having the kitchen and a little porch out front to sit and enjoy the view. Thank you Afton WY for making us feel so welcome. We drove to Jackson the next day which was crowded and costly. We are so glad we decided to stay in a quieter town on our way to Yellowstone.

Very impressed with this place that you can only reserve by calling. Very clean and comfortable

Inexpensive, can rent per week or per month. I love that we get our own little cabin with a porch. New carpet and a full kitchen. Fully furnished, kitchen and furniture a little dated, but the price more than compensates. If you rent by the month someone even comes to clean the bathroom, bed sheets and floors once a week. The managers are so incredibly nice and their customer service is wonderful!
