Afton Country Village

What a motel. Do not ket the exterior appearance or office in a gas station throw you off. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and coveted with excellent bedding. TV, internet and interior amenities were wonderful. Plenty of parking. The general store/ gas station was excellent. And true to advertising, pricecwas amazing.

I booked online about 10 pm as I was looking for lodging after driving south from Yellowstone. Got there to Afton about 11 pm and found the business closed as of 10pm. No one answered their after hrs phone number. Had to drive further south another 60+ minutes to find lodging. Still trying to charge my credit card! Has this happened to others?? 😖

If I could have rated my experience there lower than a 1 star, I would have. The first problem I had there was my family and i booked 3 rooms for 3 nights, they gave us our keys and all 3 rooms were dirty, hadn't even been touched from the last person that stayed there. We let them know and they went and checked every single room and they were ALL dirty. We were understanding thinking they were just short staffed and didn't have anyone to clean the rooms, so we simply went to another hotel. We booked again on a different weekend, checked in and got our key and headed to Jackson for the day. We got back from Jackson late (like 3 in the morning) unlocked our room and THERE WERE 2 PEOPLE SLEEPING IN THE ROOM THAT WE WERE ASSIGNED TO?!?! It was soooo embarrassing!!! We were stranded and ended

Stronly recommanded! Spacious room condition! Wifi works well only parking lots.

Awesome place for 99 $. Super clean very roomy has all the things you need. Marriott is over 200$ and doesn't touch this place.
