The Montauk Soundview

We recently had the most wonderful stay at the Montauk Soundview hotel and couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the hotel's relaxing and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect escape. Our absolute favorite parts of the trip were the fantastic pool and beach areas. The pool was a true highlight—it was impeccably clean and offered a serene spot to unwind. We spent hours relaxing by the water, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the breathtaking views of the sound. It felt like our own private oasis. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful, which only added to our fantastic stay. We can't wait to return and create more memories!

It’s a simple hotel for a Montauk experience! You have shared deck and shared parking but they have good policies on noise levels using “quiet time” which is great! The rooms are clean and the place has a private pool and little beach area (no water access though). It is away from main street which is nice but close enough to get there in a few minutes by car or even walking. I would stay here again!

My husband and I stayed for two nights at The Montauk Soundview, right after the July 4th weekend, so we got a pretty good deal for Montauk! Parking was ample, check in was pretty simple. We stayed in the Standard Studio (Room A). It was nice and cold when we arrived at the room and pretty clean. It was the corner room on the top floor so we had great views of the water, beach, and the pool. The deck had a table and chairs for us to relax on. The room was just right for the two of us--bed, small table with chairs for some morning coffee, a kitchen sink, small fridge, microwave, some dinner/silver/drink ware for two. I stayed here from August 14-16th 2024. There are pros and cons of my visit. The room was clean and well lit. I love that they had a swimming pool plus we had access to the actual beach. One of my cons is the bed is right under the air conditioner which ended having my eyes being red. I felt there was reasonable enough space in the room for the bed to be at a different angle. They do not serve breakfast and most of the restaurant/eatery around the area do not serve breakfast. I ended up going to Tony's that has a delicatessen. In the past i have stayed at similar establishment as Montauk Soundview and they offered breakfast. Although I came with a teenager son I can only imagine family with smaller children having to find and travel for breakfast. They do not have a 24 hour concierge the

Enjoyed our stay here! Had a two bedroom cottage with ocean view. Our cottage was clean which is very important. Enjoyed the Dove amenities. View was beautiful. Very relaxing. Had no issues during our stay.
