The Mansion on Delaware Avenue

My wife and I had a splurge weekend, which included a stay at The Mansion. We were greeted immediately, easy check-in. Complimentary drink. And large, high ceiling room with original woodwork. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, I left satisfied. The Mansion is also walkable to restaurants in the neighborhood. Very nice stay.

Stayed here Oct. 2025. Very disappointing. The carpet in our room had a large hole and was quite worn. The mattress was like sleeping on a board. The dresser had only one drawer that would open. The bathroom was outdated 30 years ago, and the grout has never been cleaned as there was black mold in the shower and on some of the grout. The linens, towels and sheets, were of the poorest quality. The carpet on the stairs was torn on every step. The whole hotel needs extensive upkeep and remodeling. Comments from previous reviews from 2 years ago state the same problems and management keeps responding that remodeling is underway. This is not happening, nor is it ever going to happen. All fine except one thing: the air conditioner device was quite noisy when working. And when shut-down, the room got cold. We loved the complementary parking, drinks and the simple breakfast.

Here's the butlers! I had a wonderful time staying at the Mansion on delaware. Unfortunately it was slightly soured by an experience that had nothing to do with them. In a nutshell don't ever use super dot Com. Now back to the mansion. The room what's Timeless there's a lot of beautiful history in the building and the butler's were absolutely amazing and add to the experience. Parking is across the street, convenient. It's a little different to be parking across the street and not on site. The room was wonderful the only note that I could give for improvement is it did take a little while to get the room up to temperature. What a great experience! The entire team at The Mansion was courteous, helpful, professional, and kind. I've stayed in many hotels across North America and this unique and lovely property has become a new favourite. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and came with a personalized note and gift of sugar cookies upon arrival. We enjoyed spending time in the nicely appointed lounge over glasses of wine and appreciated the complimentary happy hour cocktail (what a nice touch). In the mornings, we loved the savoury or sweet breakfast options--really top notch, excellent in presentation and quality. Bonus: the location provides walkable access to the Allentown area which is vibrant and full of quality restaurants. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.
