THE LOG CABIN at Bear Creek Cabins in Helen Ga

We were looking to get away for a few days & it needed to be pet friendly. We chose Bear Creek primarily for that reason, with the secondary factor being how close to the local shopping and dining it is. We enjoyed our stay in the Log Cabin. It has a nice large porch that is great for sitting in the morning with coffee or in the evening to wind down. The bathroom has very recently been remodeled and has a nice tub/shower unit and the bathroom is good sized. The atmosphere at Bear Creek is very laid back & casual which I greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again in the future.

2nd time around staying at this Cabin. I love the Cabin & the River view... It's cozy yet spacious. Many places say their pet friendly but my fur baby was truly welcomed. She loves looking out the window to be nosy 🤣 perfect location even for her. Pam is super sweet and a awesome host. messages get returned promptly which is a plus when trying to check in or just loose the check in info:(. Looking forward to round 3

This is the perfect place for any vacation, couples, friends, family but ESPECIALLY dogs! Pam and Earl have kept the nostalgia of a 1920s cabin while adding the comforts better than my own home. And don't worry about bringing tubes, camping chairs, fire wood, games, bikes, and so on...they have it all for you and the river! I wouldn't stay any where else in Helen, Ga!

My husband and I really enjoyed the cabin. It was a last minute decision for us to go somewhere for the weekend and we lucked up with a cabin with hot tub. Our host was very sweet. Took the time to show us around and to make sure we knew how everything worked. Plan on coming back this summer.

Great Location and awesome family/pet friendly amenities! We’ve stayed in a few different cabins & definitely plan to return! Take advantage of bikes and ride into Helen (or walk) to beat the traffic! ❤️
