Black Forest Bed & Breakfast

This BnB’s basic queen room with fireplace and whirlpool was the same price, within pennies, as the Surestay at the other end of downtown’s suite with fireplace, whirlpool, and balcony. We originally just decided to book at the motel because their indoor pool outweighed the full breakfast served here for us. Unfortunately, the Surestay room wasn’t made up, the receptionist wouldn’t do anything to fix the situation, and was disrespectful, so we got the transaction voided and we called our second choice – the Black Forest, and asked if they had vacancies – I knew I didn’t even have to question the room amenities ALL rooms have a fireplace and whirlpool. All he asked was if we could walk upstairs – he was NOT kidding! The website says 4 flights of stairs to the Tropical Honeymoon Cottage, and

My wife and I stayed 4 nights. Our hosts were phenomenal. They really made you feel like your stay was top priority. Breakfast was great! Ate there every morning. Like staying with good family. The rooms were warm and tidy. Loved the decor. Definitely got our workout going up the steps! Location was superb. Walked nearly everywhere in Helen from the B&B. While some small elements of our room needed some TLC upkeep, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back. Thank you for such a welcoming, enjoyable experience!

We absolutely loved our stay. Incredibly clean rooms, and comfy beds! The hot tub was also super super clean. Breakfast in the morning was good and warm and the owner was so friendly. You can tell she loves her guests. The only downside is the parking..which isn't their fault. They're working with what they got...but I'm telling you now to be patient and be kind to others staying there and good luck! We loved our stay and will be back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Great, clean rooms, with the heart shaped jacuzzi tub, fireplace and kitchenette. Delicious breakfast. And the cherry on top is the amazing staff. They made us feel so welcome like family. Will definitely stay here again

Positive: Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast, excellent owners and service, perfect location to simply walk down the street to all festivities. You’re in the middle of everything. Great Resturant across the street. Negative: Nope
