The Lodges at Sunset Village

Excellent family place to stay! Private log cabins with fireplace and hot tub (too cold to use), but the fireplace was cozy and used consistently. The cabins are clean and very spacious - with a kitchenette! It snowed the entire time we were there and the Lodges made sure snow removal trucks passed by constantly. Impressed!! Wisp Resort is less than 10 minutes away for skiing and snow tubing. Kids loved that! We brought our little dog! Bring food, paper towels, snacks, drink, and water (not a lot of options in town). The entire family had a great and memorable New Year’s trip. Will return!

If you are looking for fresh mountain air, pet friendly, 5 star accomodations, friendly people, beautiful scenic views any season! winter. summer. spring or fall 🍂🍁 Lodges at Sunset Village have quaint log cabins with propane fireplaces. and incredibly relaxing hot tubs, clean rooms and client services i.e. Special thanks to the front desk hostess - I sent a text message at 6:30 pm on a Friday asking for a few more pillows and the front desk delivered it on their way home 20 minutes later in 20* temps with 20 mph wind gusts! thank you! The small details go along way! You will not regret your visit!!!!

Absolutely beautiful place! We stayed in C5 on the water with a hot tub. Cabin was beautiful, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Office staff was very helpful with any questions we had. Easy check in and out. The only downfall is the cover of the hot tub blocks the view to the lake when you are in it. Other then that, we would definately come back.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. My wife really enjoyed the atmosphere and that is what I was after. We both agreed a return trip will be in order again for sure. Very nice place to spend the weekend.

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was clean, warm and very comfortable. The fire place was great. The bed was very very comfortable. The couch was just ok. A ceiling fan to circulate the heat from the fireplace would be a great addition. The hot tub was clean and an added bonus. Perfect view of the lake. We Would definitely return.
