The Lodge at Wisp

I took my family here for a midweek ski trip. The lodge was very convenient being right on the slopes. We could go right out the door of the lodge and we were on the slopes. The service was good and the staff was friendly. They even include a complimentary equipment locker with the room. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. The food was warm, the coffee was fresh, and they have a nifty machine that makes pancakes to order. We also ate at the tavern one night. The food was pretty decent and the price was very reasonable for being in the resort and the atmosphere was nice and cozy with couches and armchairs around a large fireplace. My sister and I stayed in the older part of the building one night to attend a nearby wedding. |It looked clean but there were issues.|1. A light fixture was falling from the ceiling near the door.|2. Bathroom ceiling tiles were water stained and out of place.|3. The beds were comfortable at first but the springs could be felt in some areas.||We are not early risers especially after a fun night but we cleared out quickly.||Maybe the newer part of the hotel is better??

The Lodge at Wisp was the perfect mountain getaway! From check-in to check-out, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had gorgeous views of the slopes. The lodge’s location couldn’t be better—right at the base of Wisp Resort, making it so easy to enjoy skiing, snowboarding, or just taking in the mountain scenery. The atmosphere was cozy yet modern, and the on-site amenities made our stay even more relaxing. Whether you’re here for winter sports or a peaceful retreat, The Lodge at Wisp is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back!

The resort and staff were great, However our room (768) was a huge disappointment. The mattress was hateful, bathroom floor was dirty, ice bucket had mold on it, and for some reason one of the queen beds didn't have a blanket, just a thin coverlet.VERY SAD ROOM FOR 4 NIGHTS AT $1100.

The resort and hotel exceeded my expectations. Helpful, patient, and friendly front desk staff when an issue came up (which was my fault). Manager was also a great help and willing to do whatever was necessary to make the stay smooth. The rooms were large and very nice and a pleasure to stay in. I really don’t understand how anyone could say it’s run down? I travel a lot and have a lot of hotels to compare against, and the room was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the slopes which stayed open despite the less than favorable weather conditions handed out by Mother Nature that week (great job to the mountain operations for keeping the trails open!). Ski patrol were very friendly and helpful. I will be back as soon as I can be!!!
