The Lodges at Cresthaven

We came in the winter. Our room was so warm and the amazing view of the lake was exceptional. There’s no housekeeping service but that didn’t bother us as we did not mind reusing towels. The only thing that was not great was that the hotel room walls are wood so you hear everything the people are saying in the room next door. Otherwise I totally recommend staying here in the winter.

It’s always a beautiful time at The Lodges at Cresthaven. The lodges are clean, spacious, and come with beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. The amenities, from the gym to the beach to the entertainment rooms, make every stay even better. The hot tubs can be a hit or miss at times, but it never takes away from the amazing overall experience. It truly feels like our little home away from home.

When we booked our room, we did not receive a seasonal offer… and we stayed during the week.. the first night was reasonable the second night which was a Thursday was ridiculously priced, but we took it anyway. They give you a welcome packet upon arrival. One of the keys didn’t work, but we just planned on using one key anyway. The problem immediately is staff. Whenever there’s a problem, they refer you to maintenance .. and good luck with that. The TV had two remotes and it was very confusing. We figured it out eventually…. At one point, someone tried to come into our room. She had the same room in the same room key and we referred her back to the office. When I called up to find out what was going on… she said you must’ve left your door unlocked.. to which I replied the door was locked a

Although our room was lovely… There was issues. Upon arriving, we noticed there was two remotes.. The front desk Will always say call maintenance…. Good luck with that.. With anything it’s always called maintenance. Don’t hold your breath. We were getting ready and someone was trying to get in our room and She was just as surprised as we were. She had the same room key for our room. I sent her back up to the office… And then called the office. I told him what happened and they said I must’ve left my door unlocked… When I told them the door was locked and chained… They offered no explanation no apologies and would not own up to anything. I asked to speak to an owner and they said he was not available… I said that was unacceptable because I want to talk to him and she hung up on me. And then

My family and I stayed at The Lodges at Cresthaven for 2 nights in October to enjoy the fall colors. The location and outdoor amenities were nice — the playground, pool, sundeck, and private beach area were all great for families. However, the stay itself was disappointing. Our 2-bedroom suite with a kitchen and covered porch was not well maintained. They mentioned "Amazing views of the lake and mountains seen from your very own covered porch", but it only overlooked a small creek and some bushes. We really wanted to have a lake view from our resort, so we booked "resort lodging" hoping to see the Lake George view. But it was total disappointment.
