The Lodge Hotel and Banquets

Hotel is under renovation, so people need to calm the heck down with their nasty, spiteful reviews. Its posted on their website AND every discount site/app. That all said: Our room was one that had been renovated, and was absolutely fantastic. Spotlessly clean, ALL linens bright white, neat, and it was VERY clear the housekeeping staff had done their job and some. We (my adult son and I) have service animals, and Paula, at the feomt desk, was FANTASTIC about getting us settled and letting housekeeping know. The beds were SUPER comfortable, room was quiet, with good water pressure, and no shortage of hot water. Rooms are outdated but ok because they have a indoor pool. The male attendant the Indian man need to do laundry and not greet customers. The woman at front desk is ok but the Indian man is rude and a liar. And they don’t give deposits back. They owe me 130. I never got it back on my card. I will not be going back. And they have bed bugs there. Dame rooms from before they closed and new owners took over. They never replaced anything. Rooms unchanged since it was built. If you don’t want bedbugs go to another place. It’s a nice place 5 minutes away and they also have indoor pool and free breakfast. This place right here is ran down and the owners need to be held accountable making people pay for bedbugs

Positive: N/A Negative: The chlorine from the pool contained on the inside of the hotel built up in our third floor room and caused my daughter's nose to bleed and caused her eye issues. We were told at the front desk that they would refund us. They did not.

The entire building, especially the rooms are in very, very bad disrepair for $150! There are signs everywhere asking to excuse the mess while they "remodel" but that doesn't even begin to cover the overall rundown condition of the property. There were actually guys (workers?) checking empty rooms with outside entrances for vagrants. The front reception was extremely nice and the location was great. If they'd actually fix the place up using qualified workers it'd be great.

Where do i even begin. First off the place absolutely no curb appeal. It looks like it should be condemned. The lobby had a funky odor to it. The room was extremely outdated. The bathtub was more grey than white. Not clean at all. I didn't even touch anything and immediately left and never returned. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The only thing that looked half way decent was the pool. Total bait and switch. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST
