The Lodge at Loon Lake

My family of three wanted to get away for the weekend to go snowmobiling (which was right across the street) and found this little family owned gem! The room is cozy and very clean! It has a fridge and a microwave which was helpful with bringing your own items. Nicole was extremely helpful with our questions and any extras we needed. Beautiful views, would love to see it in the summer too!

The moment I arrived to this majestic property I was mesmerized with the tranquility Bob, the owner was so warm and gracious with my friend and I when we checked in. Our rooms was outstanding. Clean, tidy, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The private balcony overlooking the lake was extraordinary. Such a peaceful space to relax and take in the lovely scenery. The complimentary homemade desserts were outstanding. I had some of the delicious zucchini cake upon my arrival and hope to get the recipe for this awesome cake from Bob's wife who is a great baker. If you're looking for an Adirondack piece of paradise than look no further than Conway's Lake Manor. This place is a shining star!

I'm writing this review praising the Owners Nicole & Matt for accommodating our daughter during a recent blizzard. My daughter has made the trip from Plattsburgh to Long Island multiple times. After the NYS thruway became unpassable with heavy snow one evening. Nicole & Matt helped our daughter with getting UNstuck in the snow at local gas station up the road. They made sure she was safe and she loved her stay at your lodge. I can't speak highly enough of the owner's of the Lodge at Loon Lake. Looking forward to staying there in the future , Thank you again.

I absolutely would reccomend staying here! 💯 I came for a ski trip to Gore mountain. Room was clean, very comfortable and welcoming, and decorated very nicely! Has heating, comfy bedding and pillows, and a nice clean bathroom! Loved having the balcony as well. It's a great rate, and honestly better than certain places that had even higher prices in that area! It's almost in between Gore mountain and lake George, which is a lovely place to check out, with nice and fun restaurant options. Plenty to see and do around, and the perfect cozy little lodge to come back to after a day of skiing. Go ahead and book it! 🙌

From the outside, it looks very generic but on closer look, you’ll notice the beautiful flower pots and wrap around patios. Inside is first class! We were so surprised at how upscale it is. It’s situated on a rolling lawn overlooking their private beach. We rented a kayak and boat from the marina which was 5 min away. Such a lovely lake! AND we were pleasantly surprised by the boat parade in the afternoon. A short hike up the mountain took us to a beautiful view spot of the lake as the sun was setting. We ate at The Loon twice…excellent food and very friendly patrons at neighboring tables. The Ice Cream House in town was fun,, friendly and perfect for breakfast. Sorry to leave this lovely spot! Thank you a very sweet 4 days.
