Lakeside at Loon Lake

We were looking for a last minute getaway to enjoy the fall foliage.. and we were so pleased with the cabin there. The owners were responsive and very accommodating. Cabin was very well kept, the interior was the exact cabin feel we wanted with the gas fireplace, and all. We enjoyed making bon fire each night using the firewood provided, and several steps away from the most serene view of the lake with full access to the canoes. The whole town was super friendly to guests that came from all over. We absolutely loved it and definitely would try to come again!

This is a very nice house and we found it clean and comfortable. We were a group of nine adults and two children and were all well accommodated. With only two bathrooms, we surprisingly had no issues. We had a nice fire outside almost every night, which was relaxing. I have to say this was the first time renting a house with the hot tub inside. It was great because some of us hung out in the hot tub while watching TV. Honestly, the only thing we didn't like was having to cross Route 8 to get to the lake. It can be busy at times and the cars drive very fast.||||All in all, this was a nice place for a relaxing vacation. Great location also with plenty to do.

My entire family and I have gone here about fifteen times over the last twenty or so years, and plan to continue going up as often as possible. Truly a wonderful place in so many ways. Exceptionally clean cabins; plenty of parking; tons of amenities; large enough to feel like you're not alone in the wilderness, but not so large that you feel like you're in a resort; short driving distance to many attractions and excellent restaurants; and some of the friendliest and most helpful owners you'll ever meet. Can't recommend this place enough!

This is a fabulous place to stay for a getaway. Our group rented the house and loved the flexibility offered. We made this our base camp and then took Motorcycle rides to Lake George, Lake Placid, Ft. Ticonderoga, East Dorset Vermont and other towns. Plenty of bedroom space, bathroom space and parking. Fire pit and outdoor grill too. It's across from the lake so a short walk to the beach to enjoy the serenity of the water.

Lakeside at Loon Lake is an amazing getaway! They are seriously one in a million. These cabins are extremely cozy and well kept. Fireplaces on the inside and fire pits right outside of your cabin. This was a surprise for my wife for our first anniversary and she couldn’t have been happier. Walt is great. He is down to earth and extremely accommodating! He even had a bottle of wine for us in light of our anniversary. A strong 5 stars and we will 110% be returning in the future.
