Riverside Pines

We had lots of buts. The campground was in a really nice location, just across the road from the beautiful Scroon River, where we swam and went tubing and loved staying so close to the water, but there was a boat launch right by our site that made it very busy with noise from traffic. The owner, Barbara, was lovely, but she didn’t come around to check on us like management at other campgrounds do. The campsite was clean, except for garbage from the people before us in the firepit. The bathrooms were neat, except they weren’t always stocked with paper towels & whatever construction was recently done was done sloppily... but the BIG issue was noise & unruly guests. We actually called 911 two out of our 3 nights there, which we have NEVER done before in our lives. Our first night we called 91

The most peaceful, enjoyable, and fun atmosphere! You can’t help but feel those nostalgic, summer in the ADK’s feels!! Great beach for both adults and kids, a playground, as well as an amazing new taproom! They have an awesome variety of beer and wine options. I highly reccomend Riverside Pines!

Excellent experience! We had a blast camping and adventuring in the area! The facilities were nice and clean, the playground for kids was really fun, the beach was extraordinary, and the taproom was awesome. We visited when they had music and a food truck, which was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

A diamond in the Adirondacks! Private, clean, family friendly, open air tap room, responsive owners, gorgeous beach! And a playground next to the tap room… need I say more? What more could you want?!? We’ve already booked our trip for next year! This truly is a special place that is sure to make our family memories for years to come.

It was okay, that's about all I can give Riverside Pines. The only real dislike was there was never anyone in the office. That and no ice machine. My wife loves to fish for pan fish. The bank was too steep to fish from, and the docks were too narrow. So plan on going off site if you would like to do that.
