The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes Trademark Collection by Wyndham

They were amazing. It was a great experience. The only problems was the breakfast was not well maintained and you couldn't ever find anyone to ask for things. One morning it was spoons, another they didn't have milk for the cereal... waterpark was awesome. Room was very nice. Arcade was great as well and seem well maintained. Very pet friendly also! Loved how the room was set up with some privacy between the beds.

The pool was disgusting. The pool deck was never cleaned and there was a lot of stuff in the hot tub. Life guards were around but not really paying attention and at one point no lifeguards were even tending the water slide. Towels are hidden behind a desk and no one manning the desk 🙄 No one really seemed to care. The water park is fine and for the price it's worth it now days when no one can afford anything. Won't be coming back though. Arcade was fine, but too many crane machines and the prize machine was a joke.

- Make sure your AC/fan unit works. Our room was uncomfortably hot even after opening the window.||- Check body wash and soap levels in the room showers, or don't offer them so guests can plan accordingly. Thinking we'd have bodywash at the hotel we didn't pack any, bodywash in room was empty. Requested refill but it never got refilled.||- Check guests into the correct room, and if you find you made a mistake don't lock the room without informing the guest. We have a 1 and 3 year old, we returned to our room at their bed time and were found to be locked out with all of our stuff inside. It took 45 minutes to resolve due to 1 staff member being available to handle guests. Mutiple people were having different issues and the line was 5 people deep. Positive: Great hotel for families. Hot breakfast and water park. Clean rooms and comfortable beds Negative: The suite we rented did not have many items that the drawers and shelves were labeled as having. I told three separate staff members about it, and was told sorry but we don’t have those things and we can’t get them. We needed them to cook and eat!

Traveled there from 8 hours away and the waterpark was a hit for my 1 and 3 year olds. Water was a little chilly but not bad. Room was clean and nice and the beds were plenty comfy. Ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good and we had an excellent server. Breakfast the next morning there was good, just your regular continental breakfast. Overall if we are ever here again we will stay here again!
