The Lodge at Bodega Bay

I can't say enough good things about Lodge at Bodega Bay! I spent three nights there for a solo birthday trip in early January, and it was exactly what I needed! My room was gorgeous - a vaulted ceiling, peaceful color palette and tasteful coastal-inspired decor, a fireplace with provided log and matches, an amazing soaking tub, large shower - and the private deck with pristine views was a perfect place to relax in the morning and at sunset. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everyone seemed to truly be aiming to provide the best experience possible for guests (hospitality at its best, without feeling at all stuffy or forced). Many people mention the hot tub in reviews of the Lodge at Bodega Bay, and it is wonderful; but I personally loved the (very-well-heated) pool!

My husband and I stayed a night there last month for my birthday and from the minute we checked in everything was absolutely amazing! The room was outstanding, the view from our balcony was beautiful , the hot tub overlooking the property was so peaceful and relaxing, and we couldn't have asked for a table with a better view at dinner. Everyone was so accommodating and kind. I also want to extend my deepest thanks to Emily and the Guest Services Team for making my birthday so memorable. You really went above and beyond to make this stay special and it means the world to me. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Very impressed with the Lodge, great restaurant and the service was top notch by all the staff. Grounds are beautiful with awesome views of the Bay and Ocean. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms extremely spacious.

We came here for our 30th Anniversary and it was perfect! We dined at Drakes restaurant. The food, sunset and ocean view were amazing. It was a 10/10 dining experience. We stayed in room 202 and it also had beautiful views of the ocean, pools and marsh land. Our room was cozy, comfortable, super clean and it had a wood burning fireplace that was an unexpected bonus. There were extras too! We got a bottle of complementary wine with a happy anniversary note and in the reception area there was cheese and wine tasting. The hotel was centrally located and provided quick and easy access to all the fun spots in Bodega Bay. Last, everyone at the hotel and restaurant were super kind and welcoming.

I was very fortunate to stay in one of your suites and loved every minute of it. The suites are so spacious, and cozy with a great fireplace and balconies to enjoy the great views. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we lucked out with excellent weather to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Cannot wait to return!
