The Little America Hotel - Salt Lake City

Great hotel located next to the light rail. The architecture is beautiful. Rooms are well appointed. Restaurants are top notch. This would be a 5-star if only for minor details. They don't offer you any water upon arrival or in the room. There were no slippers for the tile/hardwood floors in the room. At the rates charged, a simple bottle of water each day is not a big ask.

While the hotel lobby and grounds are well- maintained, we booked a Garden room not realizing this is in a completely separate building from the Hotels’s main lobby and building. The short walk to the building is across from the main entrance and requires a card key to access. The building we stayed in was reminiscent of a mid-century motel with low ceilings in the hallway, but appears to have been renovated within last couple of years.||The rooms are very spacious but furniture is a little dated. The room had a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Bathrooms were also large with double sinks and walk in shower. The room was very clean with maid services provided daily. I’m so pleased with my stay. I have stayed many times before and have been pleased with everything each time. I love the Coffee Shop restaurant. The food and service were great. All the staff members have been nice and helpful. The bedroom was beautiful and very clean. The gym and pool area are nice and everything is neat and clean. Will continue to come back in the future.

Positive: The staff was exceptional. They all were extremely friendly and eager to help. The room exceeded our expectations. It was large and clean. It was nice having more than two seating options. Negative: The only difficulty we had was finding the entrance to the parking lot. If there was signage, we weren?t able to see it.

The Little America is great. I will definitely stay here again. That said, it might not be for everyone. The main hotel spaces are impressive. Beautiful, clean, expansive. They have a lobby cafe, two shops, comfortable seating everywhere. The staff is courteous and accommodating. The buffet restaurant is unique and quite good. Not a lot of those outside of Vegas. So, it comes down to the room... Ours was clean and spacious. However, it was a bit dated and the HVAC unit did not work properly. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. The bathroom while big was tired.
